My Gutekunst Family

 

My Gutekunst ancestry is the line originating in Gündringen. In the second generation we find the family in neighboring Schietingen. My ancestor Johannes Gutekunst (born 18 September 1737, died 11 April 1790) moved to the close by village Iselshausen around the year 1760. His grandson Johann Jacob Gutekunst (born 11 September 1816, died 17 March 1872) left the Nagold valley and the foothills of the blackforest around 1848 and settled in a small village called Weil im Dorf near Stuttgart (also in southern Germany). Here my family lived until 1970.
